Handmade Dog Collars, Designed & Made in Britain

At Barkley and Fetch, we design and manufacture our dog collars in our own workshop in Marple, Greater Manchester. We've been making dog accessories in Britain since 2016, combining professional garment design experience with practical features developed specifically for dogs.

Unlike mass-produced dog collars manufactured overseas, our collars are cut and sewn by our own team in the UK. Producing our accessories ourselves allows us to choose our materials, oversee how each product is made and produce in small quantities rather than manufacturing large volumes of stock.

What makes a Barkley and Fetch dog collar different?

A good dog collar needs to do more than look good.

Our fabric dog collars are constructed using reinforced webbing for strength, with adjustable sizing, secure side-release buckles and welded D-rings for attaching your dog's lead or ID tag.

The outer fabric is where we can have a little more fun. Our collections include traditional tartans, contemporary checks, florals, animal prints and seasonal designs, allowing you to choose something that suits both you and your dog.

Many designs are also available with matching dog leads, harnesses and accessories.

Designer Dog Collars Without Mass Production

Barkley and Fetch was founded by fashion and technical garment designer Jane Nketiah, who spent more than 20 years working within the fashion industry before establishing the business.

That experience influences how our products are designed, from selecting fabrics and understanding construction to developing fit and sizing.

For us, a designer dog collar doesn't simply mean putting a fashionable fabric onto a collar. It means considering how the product is constructed, how it fits and how it performs when your dog actually wears it.

Every Barkley and Fetch collection is designed by us and made by our own sewing team.

We think luxury should be about more than a label.

For us, a luxury dog collar means thoughtful design, carefully chosen materials, skilled construction and attention to detail.

Making our collars in our own British workshop also means we're able to produce in smaller quantities and introduce new designs without the large production runs associated with mass manufacturing.

The result is a dog collar that has been designed, cut and sewn in Britain from start to finish.

British-Made Dog Collars Since 2016

Barkley and Fetch was established in 2016 and has grown from a small independent business into a British dog-accessories brand with its own shop and workshop in Marple.

Our products have been bought by dog owners across the UK and internationally, and we also supply a growing number of independent retailers.

Despite that growth, the principle behind Barkley and Fetch hasn't changed: we design our products ourselves and make them ourselves.

Choosing the Right Dog Collar

Your dog's collar should fit securely without being uncomfortably tight.

Our standard collars are adjustable, making it easy to find a comfortable fit within the size range. We recommend measuring around your dog's neck before ordering and comparing the measurement with the size information shown on the product page.

We also make different styles and widths of collars, including wide dog collars and martingale collars, which can be particularly suitable for certain breeds and body shapes.
